Description
This course introduces students to the world of corporate finance, i.e., a financial manager’s domain in a corporate form of business. In the first part of the course students will learn to analyze financial statements to evaluate a corporation’s comparative health. After learning to determine the value of a dollar across a timeline, students will embark on a journey to apply the principle of time value of money to appraise and choose projects to undertake, define investments based on risk-return criterion and price basic financial instruments like stocks and bonds.
